Science Light project (p.112) due Feb 25

We started our FSA testing today and it should end next week. This is a very stressful time for some students so homework will be limited during testing time. Weekly assignments like spelling will all be postponed for a week.

Science Light Project (see p.112 of text) due Feb. 25
Students may do this on their own, with a partner or in a group of 3.
If they have a partner or in a small group can I get an email from you saying this is okay with you. Sometimes students force partnerships that don't work for some families. I want to know that you're good with the partner or group your child is in. If your child is doing it on their own no email is needed. There are three weekends to get the project done before it is due.

There are a few outstanding OWL FLIP BOOKS and CANDYLAND STORIES that were not completed for today. They need to be in by Tuesday or a detention will occur on Tuesday after school.

Also the craft JAR will be needed next week if they could bring that in.

GRADE 4 PARENT UPDATE – February 4th

1.       For Thursday’s fieldtrip to the Space Center students should arrive at the regular Thursday time of 9:00 AM. Wear Uniform and bring a bag lunch.

2.       PE dates for Grade 4 are now MONDAYS and WEDNESDAYS for the rest of the year.

3.       Grade 4’s will be putting on a short skit in Chapel this Friday from 11:20 – 11:50.
